Bathroom facilities are shared with other travelers staying at the campsite.

Later, our safari manager will provide a safari briefing and leave you to enjoy the inviting lodge's facilities for the rest of the day.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, meet your safari driver guide and start your adventure. Your first stop will be Arusha town for any last-minute shopping. Then, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley, which boasts rich overlapping habitats, swamps, and a lake that supports a large variety of animals and birds. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon populations, and huge flamingo flocks. You may spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, wildebeests, hippos, buffalo, and predators such as leopards, hyenas, and jackals.
In the afternoon, head to Lake Eyasi for a cultural encounter. The drive through the Great East African Rift Valley takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will visit the Datoga tribe and have the chance to interact with them. You can ask questions and learn about their culture. Later, visit the blacksmith before going on a sunset walk along the lake shore. Then, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park
Begin your day with an early morning hunting session with the Hadzabe bushmen. Using bows and arrows, you'll learn survival skills and gain insights into the bushmen's traditional ways of life, which are rooted in the Stone Age. Afterward, return to your campsite for breakfast, then start your drive to the vast Serengeti plains via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
As you travel, you will pass through the farmland of Karatu, heading toward Ngorongoro Gate. After check-in, you’ll drive around the crater rim and stop at the viewpoint for stunning photos. You'll also visit a Maasai village, where you can interact with local warriors and families, ask questions, and join in their traditional singing and dancing.
Next, head into the heart of Serengeti National Park, with its endless rolling plains. Stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hills Gate or the Kopjes (rocky outcroppings), en route to the Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife, including the Serengeti River, which draws animals seeking water. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in search of big cats and the Great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration (depending on the time of year). Drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains. Start with an early morning game drive, where you may spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas returning from their nocturnal hunts. Afterward, take a break in the bush for breakfast. Depending on the timing of your visit, you may be able to witness the Wildebeest Migration in action. Watch as herds of wildebeests move across the plains, engaging in dramatic behaviors such as fighting, hunting, and grazing.
You may also spot herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, and various antelopes. Late afternoon, head back to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
On your final day of this 5-day Tanzania camping safari, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an incredible game drive, with a picnic lunch served in the crater. The diverse wildlife here includes elephants, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The crater is also home to a denser population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards.
You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow salt lake that is home to flocks of flamingos and other birds, as well as hippos. Afterward, drive out of the crater and return to Arusha for your drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or a night in Arusha. (Accommodation on this day can be arranged at an extra cost.)
