Located in Arusha National Park, this trek combines breathtaking scenery, diverse wildlife, and a thrilling ascent, making it an ideal acclimatization climb before tackling Mount Kilimanjaro.

  • Terrain: Forest & wildlife-rich landscape

  • Highlights: Giraffes, buffalo, monkeys, waterfalls

  • Elevation: 1,500m → 2,500m

  • Duration: 5–6 hours

Description: Begin your trek through scenic Arusha National Park with an armed ranger. The trail winds through open grasslands and dense forests, offering incredible wildlife viewing before reaching Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.

  • Terrain: Forest → Heath zone

  • Highlights: Little Meru (3,820m), views of Meru Crater

  • Elevation: 2,500m → 3,570m

  • Duration: 3–4 hours

  • Description: Begin your summit push around midnight. The climb follows a narrow ridge with dramatic drop-offs, ending at Socialist Peak just in time for sunrise. After photos and rest, descend back to Saddle Hut, then continue to Miriakamba Hut.

  • Description: A relaxing descent through forest paths and open meadows brings you back to Momella Gate, where your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
